What is Funes?
Funes is an open, community-driven project building the world’s first permanent 3D archive of human architecture. Anyone can contribute by uploading photos, submitting scans, or nominating structures, and Funes transforms these submissions into high-fidelity 3D models preserved on chain.
Its goal is to create a public, freely accessible digital museum of everything humans have built, from monuments and temples to homes, ruins, and modern landmarks.
This archive protects culturally significant structures, supports future AI and spatial computing applications, and demonstrates MegaETH’s ability to power large-scale, data-intensive projects.
Funes has already digitized nearly 1,000 structures and is expanding rapidly, pairing each model with text, imagery, and structural metadata to create a research-grade dataset. This growing collection forms a foundation for education, preservation, and next-generation AI systems that rely on rich real-world data.
